Glenkens Food Month returns for 7th year

Glenkens Food Month 2025

Glenkens Community and Arts Trust (GCAT) are delighted to announce the return of Glenkens Food Month for its 7th year.

The annual Glenkens Food Month is a fantastic partnership of local organisations and businesses celebrating the amazing food and drink of the Glenkens and runs throughout September featuring a range of food-related events and activities from local producers, establishments and communities.

Abi Mordin, a Glenkens Food Month stalwart and known to many of us through Propagate and the Galloway Food Hub, is our new Glenkens Food Month Coordinator.

If you are thinking about holding a food and drink event, promotion, workshop or something else during September, Abi needs to hear from you!

Please add your event details to this form - and share with others who think should be involved!

The Glenkens Food Month calendar will be available here along with links to buy tickets in the lead up to September.

GCAT would like to thank the Glenkens and District Community Fund through the Glenkens & District Trust and Foundation Scotland for funding this short-term post and the publicity for the event - it's so great that Food Month is back on for its 7th year and that GCAT can play its part in making it happen!
