Celebrate the Joy of Music – You’re Invited!
Join us for the Galloway Violin Studio’s Annual Spring Concert on Saturday, June 14 at 11:00 AM in the Parton Village Hall!
Under the direction of Cate Howard and accompanied by pianist Sue St. Joseph, our talented young musicians (ages 5–18) will perform a vibrant mix of classical, traditional, and contemporary music in violin choirs, trios, and quartets.
Enjoy complimentary tea and coffee, and take part in our fundraising raffle – all are welcome, and no booking is needed!
For over 25 years, Galloway Violin Studio has provided high-quality violin and viola education in the Stewartry. Our students have performed locally and nationally, taken part in youth orchestras, and trained with world-class musicians – including a workshop with members of the Scottish Ensemble in 2024.
With students from Dumfries, Stranraer, Dalbeattie, Dunscore, Kirkcudbright, Castle Douglas, and beyond, GVS is a thriving musical community rooted in excellence and creativity.
